A wedding seating chart maker that knows who can't sit together
Drag guests onto tables, or let SeatingQR draft a first version from your guest list. Tell it who must sit together and who shouldn't, and it warns you about conflicts before your guests find them.
What you can do in the seating builder
- Paste or type your guest list. Names, tables and meal choices can be pasted straight from a spreadsheet.
- Set keep-together and keep-apart rules, such as a couple who must share a table or relatives who shouldn't.
- See conflicts and over-capacity tables at a glance, with a warning on the table and on the rule.
- Auto-seat the unseated guests while respecting your rules, then undo it if you don't like the result.
- Keep private notes about guests. Guests never see them.
- Print a one-click alphabetical backup list and a QR sign for the entrance.
A simple order of work
- Wait until most RSVPs are in. Everything before that is a draft.
- Enter every confirmed guest, plus-ones as separate names.
- Add your hard rules first: couples, young children with parents, anyone who needs an aisle seat.
- Auto-seat the rest, then adjust by hand.
- Publish, print the sign and keep editing until the doors open.
Free plan and Wedding plan
The free plan covers one event with up to 40 guests, the seating builder with rules, the seat finder and the printable QR sign. The Wedding plan is a one-time $59 and adds unlimited guests, tablemates and seat diagrams, a live photo wall, a written and voice guest book, registry and gift links, an access code and helpers who can co-edit.
Frequently asked questions
Can I import my guest list from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Paste lines of name, table and meal and SeatingQR matches names to tables and flags duplicates. A CSV paste works the same way.
Can my planner or family help me edit?
On the Wedding plan you can invite up to 10 helpers by email and each can edit the seating plan. Only the owner can delete the event.
What happens if guests change after I print the sign?
Nothing needs reprinting. The QR code always opens the live guest page, so changes appear instantly.
